Legia Warsaw midfielder Krystian Bielik says he is “very happy” as his transfer to Arsenal nears completion. While he wasn’t willing to talk at length about his move to the Emirates until the deal is definitely done, he did offer a hint that he is confident of becoming an Arsenal player.

He told WP: “I am very happy.”

Bielik is expected at London Colney today for his medical checks and to sign his deal.

Nu-l putem întoarce pe Jenk ..." - oricum aven 2 jucatori pe aceasta pozitie si o mare sansa pentru Calum sa-si revina in forta iar Hector sa demonstreze ca e pregatit pentru meciuri mari + daca transferam un aparator central o sa fie completata linia de aparare taman dupa sistema lui Arsene : 2 RB(Calum, Hector ) 3 CB(Per, Loran , ....) 2 LB(Nacho, Kieran)

Pai linia de fund dacă va fi completata bine,pai ce tine se atac e strașnic,din toți numai pe Welb.în rest pe toți as vrea sa plece,Giroud nu e de EPL,Cambel merita ceva mai mult,și Sanogol e ceva aparte numai trebuit sa mai spun ceva de el...

Despre Giroud intotdeauna am avut o parere care niciodata nu mi-am schimbat-o.. Nu e atacant de super calitate, dar nu e nici chiar atat de mediocru. E de nivel mediu. De cand a venit in EPL, statistica golurilor pe sezon si a golurilor pe meci e ceva putin mai buna decat media generala a atacantilor din intregul campionat. Da.. are mijloc turbat in spate, dar si in alte echipe de top putem gasi exemple din trecut sau de acum, cand atacantii aveau performante mult mai slabe, dar erau considerati staruri mult mai mari decat Olivier. In vara, multi dintre noi ar fi ales ca Balotelli sa fie la noi, si nu Giroud.. Dar s-a dovedit ca a fost o parere gresita. Si nu doar pentru ca Balotelli are cel mai aiurea sezon, dar si pentru ca Giroud intotdeauna a avut goluri pe sezon mai multe..
Unicul lucru ce as puncta: el nu-i acela care sa fie unicul, si respectiv, principalul atacant in echipa..

#160361 marius55555, eu nu o sa încerc sa mă contrazic cu tine,dar din nr.de ocazii pe care le are se putea și mai bine,eu o sa raman totuși la ideea ca Giroud nu e de EPL,nici tehnica nici finisare unica ce îmi place la el e e poziționare la mingele pe sus și atit nimic mai mult,același Bony pentru mine e peste Giroud...ăsta e o părere nu trebuie ca în toată data sa îi faceți pe specialiștii și sa spuneți ca nam de loc dreptate

Clar că Giroud nu-i atacantul perfect de care noi avem nevoie, dar e un jucător util, și până își găsește Welbz nișa și începe să înscrie pe bandă rulantă, Giroud e atacantul principal. Dacă n-am fi avut probleme în defensivă, eforturile lui Sanchez, Ox, Cazorla și Giroud ar fi fost suficiente ca acum să stăm liniștiți pe primele poziții

#160364 Arsenal_O, pai eu nu as spune ca atacul a fost la înălțime mereu,chiar undeva din jumate din toate meciurile au jucat bine,ce tine de Ox -ce folos din toate treverie lui foarte frumoase chiar ft frumoase ca în momentul când sa paseze sau sa centreze o face rău și in precis, Santi leagă frumos mijlocul și atacul dar pe poziția lui cam puține pase decesive și asa mai departe,Giroud nu e în stare sa oprească normal nici 60% din mingele care le sunt adresate, unicu care este chiar efectiv e Alexis...ăsta e părerea mea...

Talking ahead of Sunday’s game with Manchester City, Wenger confirmed that we're working hard to find a defender.

“We are out on the market and we work very hard every day. All our scouts, all our people are working very hard to find a defender.”

Asked about reported interest in Borussia Dortmund’s midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, Wenger retorted: “He’s not a defender. At the moment we are more looking [to strengthen] the defensive department.”
