Anul 2149, un timp în care toata viața de pe Pamant este amenințata cu extincția. Intr-un efort disperat pentru a salva rasa umana, oamenii de stiință au inventat un portal care permite călătoria in timp către Pămantul preistoric, cu 85 de milioane de ani in urma.
Membrii familiei Shannon - tatal Jim, soția sa Elisabeth, si cei trei copii ai lor: Josh, Maddy si Zoe - se alătura celui de-al zecelea pelerinaj al colonistilor către Terra Nova, prima colonie umana creata de cealăltă parte a portii temporale.In curand insa colonistii descopera ca asezamantul a fost construit chiar pe teritoriul unui grup de dinozauri carnivori, care pot distruge aceasta noua lume chiar inainte de a fi cladita. Dar, probabil chiar mai amenintator decat ceea ce se afla in afara gardurilor de protectie, este faptul ca ceva sinistru s-ar putea întampla chiar în interiorul coloniei, deoarece nu toti membrii acestei misiuni au aceleasi intenții bune de a salva omenirea.

#201 stefan007, au inceput tare bine in 1-2 season ,, pe urma foarte rau!! iar acum ultimle 4-5 episoada is chiar bunicele.. dar oricum parerea mea 40 % ca o sal continue!

Not so, say the executive producers, who have no plans to leave Australia.

"That's not part of the conversation right now. You hear a lot of 'It's a really expensive show.' It's not an inexpensive show, but it's not most expensive show on television by a long shot," said Echevarria.

When it comes to tonight's two-hour season finale, which premieres at 8 p.m. on Fox, Echevarria promises it will be "bigger than the pilot, in a way." The executive producers tease that a major character will bite the dust, the story will revisit 2149, and there won't be a standard cliffhanger.

"We promised ourselves and the audience that we'd tell a complete story this season, and we do tell a complete story. Having said that, there are some new, startling mysteries and aspects are uncovered about Terra Nova," said Braga.

According to Echevarria, "a few doors are closed, and few new doors are opened," and "some tantalizing new things occur."

The executive producers say that those "tantalizing new things" will be fleshed out in a second season, if they get one, but they are just at the beginning stages of where that new season might go.

"We don't have it all mapped out, but we have pitched a take on season two to the network, and that's part of the decision-making process for them," said Echevarria. "It's a creative conversation with them. It was an opening conversation. It went well, but they have some thoughts of their own, and we're eager to get in there and work it out and come up with a great season two."

Mi'a placut serialul , tema, efectele in unele serii este shi ceva feeling ! una ce actorii care joaca rolul la Comandir shi Taylor is de miina a doua (parerea mea).
Ultima serie a 13, a lasat senzatie ca se poate shi ar trebui sa fie o continuitate a serialului. Paremise dupa Spartacus e al doilea serial cu efecte)).
Astept sezonul 2 ca si la Secret Circle, dar mai taaaaaaare Californication , Go go go Moody :)

Am terminat si eu in sfarsit sezonul. Se pare ca va fi si al doilea sezon.
