#7136 Wu, I must say, thugger grew on me, nu ascult inrait dar sunt trackuri bune, slide season 3 mia placut. Lam observat prima data in trackul Mamacita a lui Travis, cel putin pe features e incredibil.

Prima data cand asculti iti pare cai rahat total. Pana nu iti deschizi putin mintea la alte chestii decat classic mainstream hip-hop si nu incerci sa intri in esenta artistului ap nu intelegi nimic din muzica la astfel de artisti.

with Thugger it's not about the content, the lyrics per se, but more about how he conveys all of this - intonatia, flow-ul (care il schimba de vreo cateva ori in acelasi track, crazy).
Cel putin e interesant sa-l asculti, iar pe features, de obicei he really shines. Eu prima data l-am auzit pe "Maria I'm Drunk" )

Citisem undeva un articol despre cum Thugger isi scrie versurile, asta e chiar tare interesant - he doesn't write his lyrics on paper, he draws, iar desenele astea intr-un fel ii influenteaza ritmul, flow-ul. Alti produceri care au lucrat cu dansul tot au observat asta (mi se pare ca Metro Boomin a spus primul despre asta, nu-s sigur)

Young Thug has already said he can make a “perfect song” in 10 minutes or less. He wrote “Danny Glover” in eight—or so he says.

In the past, Thug has mentioned he doesn’t write lyrics down—so how does he come up with songs? In a new interview with HighSnobiety, he explains how drawing pictures helps him write his songs:

I might draw a head with, like, Goku hair, and then I might start with the left side of his ear and go to the right side of his ear and the way I do his hair, those are my rhythms. So, if I draw his hair and it’s like porcupines going all up and down then when I started rapping I’m going to rap with that melody. That’s only sometimes though, not the majority of the time. Mostly I just hear a good beat and it turns me on and I’m just like, ‘Fuck, let’s go.’

This, however, isn’t exactly new information. Producer Dun Deal, who worked on “Stoner,” explained in a 2014 interview with Complex that he always caught Thugger doodling during the recording process:

He used to just draw pictures, he would draw pictures of crazy stuff and I guess that’s where he drew the inspiration of the songs but that’s what he would do when he was younger, just draw. And then rap and then end up… he kind of left his little pad that he would have in the studio and I asked him one day, Thug, what are all these drawings? He was like, “well you know, that’s how I write my raps.”
