Games List
Shogun: Total War:

[himg][/himg]

Shogun: Total War is set in feudal Japan. The expansion pack, called Mongol Invasion, was released with the original in the Warlord Edition. It is different from the more familiar Western settings of later Total War games. In the single player game, the role-playing done by the clans and players of Shogun was unrivaled by any other games in the series[citation needed], and included interactive videos that represented possible decisions by the player, such as converting to Christianity. The original Shogun was not quite a mainstream product, but attracted a dedicated fan base.

Medieval Total War:

[himg][/himg]

Medieval: Total War is set in medieval Europe. The expansion pack is Viking Invasion, and the combined edition is called the Battle Collection. In the multiplayer world, Viking Invasion can be considered the most balanced and complete version of Total War throughout the whole series. Shogun was faster and arguably more taxing on the individual playing skill, while MTW/VI added new exciting elements to online battles. It was one of the best received games in the Total War series.

*Angbad
info

Angband was a mighty fortified citadel originally constructed by Melkor in the earliest days of the world as an outlying fortress to his northern stronghold of Utumno. Utumno was destroyed by the Valar, and Melkor imprisoned in Valinor for three ages, but on his return to Middle-earth, he took Angband as the seat of his power, and raised the towers of Thangorodrim above its gates.

Angband was beseiged by the Noldor during the early part of the First Age, but the Siege of Angband was broken at the Dagor Bragollach. It was finally destroyed by the forces of the Valar at the end of the First Age, in the War of Wrath.

Origins and History
Angband was first constructed in the ancient past of Middle-earth2, originally as an outlying fortress and armoury to the great northern citadel at Utumno. It was commanded from its first construction by Sauron, the chief of Melkor's servants. Angband was built near the northwestern shores of the Great Sea in the range of the Iron Mountains, as a first defence against any attack on Melkor's realm from the Valar in Aman.

When the Valar captured Melkor and took him in chains back to Valinor, Angband was largely destroyed and lay in ruins for many thousands of years, although beneath the ruins lay many hidden chambers in which some of Melkor's servants escaped the Valar's assault. Sauron was one of these, and the Balrogs lay hid with him in Angband's deepest vaults.

Angband re-entered history when Melkor escaped Valinor with the stolen Silmarils: he chose the ruined fortress as his new capital, and rebuilt the Hells of Iron as a base for the dark reign he intended for the lands of Middle-earth.

Soon after the Return of the Noldor to Beleriand, Morgoth took Maedhros by deceit and trickery, and hung him by the wrist from the towers of Thangorodrim above Angband. He was rescued by Fingon and Thorondor, but lost his right hand.

The third of the great battles in the Wars of Beleriand. the Dagor Aglareb, had profound consequences for Angband. Until that time (the year 60 of the First Age) Morgoth sent out hosts of Orcs in the hope of taking the Noldor by surprise. The Noldor, though, chased these Orcs back to the very gates of Angband, and slew them to the last creature. From then until the Dagor Bragollach in I 455, a period of almost 400 years, Angband was surrounded by the Noldor; this is the time known as the Siege of Angband.

Appearance and Construction
Angband was primarily an underground fortress, at least after its initial destruction by the Valar in the Years of the Trees. Like its prototype, Utumno, it had many hidden underground chambers and vaults far beneath the earth. Its main features above ground were the three peaks of Thangorodrim, mighty towers of ash and slag raised above Angband's gates.

The peaks of Thangorodrim were hollow, and from them channels and chimneys ran down to the deepest pits of Angband. So, Morgoth could produce poisonous clouds and vapours, as indeed he sent against the Noldor in Mithrim during the first days after their Return.

*Easterlings
info

These peoples were diverse in many ways from the Edain who entered Beleriand some hundred and more years before them. Tolkien describes them as "short and broad, long and strong in the arm, and grew much hair on the face and breast; their locks were dark as were their eyes, and their skins were sallow or swart. But they were not all of one kind, in looks or in temper, or in tongue. Some were not uncomely and were fair to deal with; some were grim and ill-favoured and of little trust."

It was the folk of Bór who were of those most honourable and trustworthy, and they dwelt in Himring and other areas under the rule of the sons of Fëanor. The tribes of Ulfang and Lorgan, however, would prove treacherous and serve Morgoth, though even he would betray them. In later years these people would be forcibly settled in Dor-lómin, after the fall of Hador.

Men

*Beor
info
The first of the three groups of Men who comprise the Edain to enter Beleriand were those who followed their chieftain Balan, who later took the name of 'Bëor' (Quenya: 'Vassal') because of his devoted service to Finrod Felagund. It was Finrod who first befriended these people, and settled them first in the region named Estolad (Q: 'encampment'), and then in later years Dorthonion (Q: 'Land of Pines'), where other Noldorin Elves of the House of Finarfin dwelt.

Of their appearance and demeanor, J.R.R. Tolkien writes: "The People of the House of Bëor were dark or brown of hair; their eyes were grey and keen and their faces fair and shapely. Lithe and lean in body, they were long-enduring in hardship. Of all Men they were the most like the Noldor and most loved by them; for they were eager of mind, cunning-handed, swift in understanding, long in memory..."

*Haleth
info

Second of the Houses of the Edain to enter Beleriand were the Haladin. Like the Bëor who had entered before them, these people also were a loose-knit group of clans who apparently had few or no real leaders. Because the Green-Elves of Ossiriand were unfriendly, the Haladin passed north into Thargelion, the country of Caranthir son of Fëanor, where for some fifty or sixty years they had peace. But Morgoth, seeing that he could not with lies and deceit wholly estrange the Elves and Men, was filled with wrath and was determined to do Men what hurt he could. He sent an Orc force to assail their settlement, and the Haladin rallied together under the leadership of the brave and fearless Haldad. He had twin children: Haleth, his daughter, and Haldar, his son; and both were valiant in the defense. But Haldad would be slain in a sortie against the Orcs; and Haldar too as he came to his fathers defense.

It was left to Lady Haleth to gather the remnants of the Haladin, and make Westwards. Briefly they dwelt in Estolad, yet yearning to go forth again, did at last make it through hardship and loss to the Forest of Brethil. That land was on the western edge of the Kingdom of Doriath, ruled by Thingol, who grudgingly bequeathed the land to the People of Haleth by the grace of Finrod Felagund.

As a people, the Haladin were somewhat shorter and broader than the Bëor. Yet many of them, including the line of Haldad and the Wardens of Brethil, were as tall and strong as any of the Edain. In times of need, even their women, of great heart and strength, would take arms and fight alongside the men. Their excellence at forest warfare strikes fear into the Orcs, who dare come hither at great risk, and so the Kingdom of Nargothrond, where Finrod Felagund reigns, is further protected.

*Marach
info

The Marachians were the last of the Houses of Edain to enter Beleriand. They were the most numerous and best organized, following their chieftain Marach. They too would settle first in Estolad where some folk of the Bëor and Haladin were. Eventually they would make their way to Hithlum, amidst the folk of Fingolfin. It was there that Hador Lórindol, great-grandson of Marach, entered into the household of Fingolfin, who loved him so that he gave to Hador the lordship of Dor-lómin, and into that land Hador gathered his folk and became the mightiest chieftain of the Edain.

Of their appearance and demeanor, J.R.R. Tolkien writes: "Many of [Hador's] people were like to him, golden-haired and blue-eyed; they were tall and strong, quick to wrath and laughter, fierce in battle, generous to friend and to foe, swift in resolve, fast in loyalty, joyous in heart, the children of Ilúvatar in the youth of Mankind."

Elves

*Elves of Doriath
info
The woodland people of King Elu Thingol, who occupied Neldoreth and Region, the central forests of Beleriand. The city of the King at Menegroth represented the height of Sindarin culture, and Thingol himself was acknowledged as the Lord of Beleriand by all the Sindar, whether or not they dwelt within the borders of his realm.

*Elves of the Falas
info
A Sindarin people who took Círdan as their lord and dwelt on the western shores of Beleriand. Renowned as shipwrights and mariners, these Falathrim dwelt in two great walled Havens, Brithombar and Eglarest, which stood until after the great defeat of the Nirnaeth Arnoediad.

*Elves of Gondolin
info
Also known as the Gondolindrim, a people of mixed Noldorin and Sindarin stock who followed Turgon out of Nevrast and settled in his Hidden City of Gondolin. That city was built in a valley deep within the Encircling Mountains, and so the Elves of Gondolin long remained concealed from Morgoth. Gondolin's location was eventually betrayed, and the city fell at last, though many of its people were able to escape.

*Elves of Norgothrond
info
The followers of Finrod Felagund, whose capital was the underground city of Nargothrond beside the River Narog. From there, Finrod ruled much of West Beleriand until he was lost giving aid to Beren on his quest for a Silmaril. Finrod was succeeded by his brother Orodreth, who ruled until Nargothrond's destruction by the Dragon Glaurung.

*Laiquendi
info
A reclusive and secretive people, the Laiquendi, or Green-elves, of Ossiriand were a branch of the Nandor who had crossed the Blue Mountains before the first rising of the Sun and Moon. They settled in the Land of Seven Rivers that lay between the mountains and the River Gelion.

*Sons of Feanor
info
The seven Sons of Fëanor dwelt apart from the other Elves of Beleriand. For much of the First Age, they occupied lands to the north and east of Beleriand, and their main fortress was Maedhros' stronghold on the Hill of Himring. In the years after the Dagor Bragollach, Maedhros forged an alliance with many of the other Elves of Beleriand and planned a massed assault on Angband. That was the ill-fated attack that would become known as the Nirnaeth Arnoediad.

In plus cine are imaginii cum arata drapelul fiecarei fractiuni.
3. Puneti imagini soldatilor si carei fractiuni apartin, armament, bijuterii, a soldatilor desigur.
4. Imagini cu constructile din orase si daca sunt deosebite, care se intilneste doar intr-un oras atunci indicati in ce oras e situata aceasta constructie.
