The Champions League draw has been made in Montecarlo and Milan have been placed in Group H along with Lille, AEK Athens and Anderlecht. Lille, an excellent French side, came through the qualifying round with little difficulty against Rabotnicki Skopje, 3-0 in the first leg and 1-0 in the return. AEK also came through a preliminary round, defeating Hearts 2-1 and 3-0 while Anderlecht find themselves in the group stage as Belgian champions. Milan played Anderlecht in the group phase 1993-94, drawing 0-0 on both occasions. They played AEK in the 1994-95 competition, drawing 0-0 away and winning 2-1 at the San Siro. It certainly cannot be considered as an easy group for the Rossoneri and with just three weeks to go before the first fixture, the squad will be focused on the challenges ahead.

grupa H i-mi aminteste de grupa lu ARSENAL de anul trecut, dar sa nu uitam ca surprizele mari vin de la echipele mici, si totusi MILANO va iesi pe 1 loc
