В это трудно поверить, но прошло уже 6 лет с тех пор, как мы узнали, кто такой Декстер Морган и чем он занимается в свободное от работы время. И вот, похоже, настало время прощаться. 6-й сезон, возможно, станет последним для сериала. Однако у Variety на днях появилась информация, что Майкл С. Холл, исполнитель главной роли, ведет переговоры о новом контракте! Причем, занимается этим уже несколько месяцев.

Пока эту новость еще никто не подтвердил, представители Showtime и агенты актера отказываются от комментариев, но логика действий понятна и школьнику. У «Декстера» стабильные рейтинги, масса фанатов, и не только в США. Поэтому отказываться от такого проекта на пике популярности было бы если не глупо, то крайне нерасчетливо.

Variety не уточняет, сколько еще сезонов может продлиться шоу, станет ли это камнем преткновения и на каких условиях договариваются стороны. Говорят, что Холл может требовать увеличения зарплаты, и это тоже естественно. Точной информации о его гонорарах нет, но, скорее всего, речь идет о пятизначных суммах за эпизод, хотя с 2006 года цифры могли и поменяться.

После второго сезона Холл вырос до сопродюсера сериала и повышен до исполнительного к четвертому сезону. После этого он стал получать прибыль непосредственно от сериала, продаж DVD, мерчендайзинга и продаж сериала за рубеж.

Теперь Холл- обладатель Золотого глобуса, четырежды номинант на премию «Эмми», может спокойно диктовать любые условия работодателю. Без него шоу не сможет существовать, и все это прекрасно понимают.

К слову, зарплаты звезд кабельного ТВ в последние годы значительно выросли. Джон Хэмм из «Безумцев» выставил счет AMC и Lionsgate TV на 10 миллионов долларов за три сезона. Отказать ему не смогли.

Что же, нам остается ждать новых сообщений и первой серии 6-го сезона «Декстера», которая выйдет в эфир 2 октября.
