OFFICIAL: Bordeaux Sign Yoann Gourcuff On Four-Year Deal
Milan have wished the midfielder the best of luck in his career...

Girondins Bordeaux have announced this afternoon they have completed the signing of midfielder Yoann Gourcuff on a four-year deal from AC Milan.

The Frenchman has been on loan with the Ligue 1 side this season and after some match-winning displays they have decided to exercise the option to sign him.

Bordeaux will have the chance to win the French title for the sixth time in their history this weekend and hence will call a press conference confirming the deal after the championship is decided.

There have been some words today though from the president of Bordeaux, Jean-Louis Triaud, who expressed his delight at the purchase.

"Tonight, I am the happiest president. I am thankful for the way the discussions that led to this agreement have been carried out. We are happy to be able to count on a player of such talent and with such human qualities. I am thinking in particular about the team, the club, and also our fans," he told the official Bordeaux website.

Likewise, Gourcuff himself, who won the Ligue 1 player of the year award this season, revealed his happiness at a permanent return to France.

"I am happy to continue my sporting adventure with Girondins. My decision to sign with them has developed throughout the season," he said.

"We have succeeded in not only creating a sporting success but also keeping good relations within the group.

"I learned a lot from my time with AC Milan and I want to thank the players and the club for letting me learn at the highest level."

"The confidence that Laurent Blanc and my team-mates put in me since the start of the season, the club's ambition for the following season, and the support of the fans, have made me make this decision, whilst the economic aspect was not a priority in it."

AC Milan have also briefly commented about the move in an official statement, wishing him good luck for the rest of his career.

Gourcuff ,super jucator ....Bine ca a reusit sa devina leader la Bourdeaux, titular cu Franta....Mult noroc si bafta pe viitor.Daca Bourdeau va deveni campioana anul acesta , o mare parte al acestui tiltu il are Gourcuff.

Milan To Announce Leonardo On Monday - Report
The Rossoneri are set to clear things up early next week with regards to the coaching position...

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Leonardo is the new Milan coach and will be announced on Monday, the day after the delicate and decisive clash against Fiorentina, while current boss Carlo Ancelotti will be joining Chelsea, as widely speculated in the past weeks.

This means that the former Brazil star will move from behind the desk to the bench, with Mauro Tassotti being his assistant coach and Filippo Galli being offered the possibility of directing the youth sector.

The Rossoneri are also flirting with the idea of adding a new member to the technical staff: the tactician.

The chosen person would study the upcoming opponents extensively so that he could then report to Leonardo.

Another change involves the medical sector, where Professor Meersemann will not follow the first team anymore following the advice of Leonardo to Adriano Galliani.

Milan Lab will be modified under the structure and organisation profile, whereas Daniele Tognaccini will be confirmed as responsible for the physical preparation.

Cu Gourcuff probabil n-o vrut sa riste, totusi campionatul francez e mai slab decit cel italian , s-ar putea intoarce aici si iar sa nu prea fie de folos !

Da in legatura cu Leonardo , is sceptic , stiu ca-i fost jucator al Milanului , si inca mai activeaza in interiorul clubului , dar ca antrenor nu am auzit nimic ! Poate-i vreun Guardiola al Milanului !

Italian prime minister and Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has caused a stir by telling Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo that he would be welcome at his club.

According to Tuttopsort and tuttomercatoweb, the Rossoneri supremo spoke with the former Sporting Lisbon man during the medal presentations following the Red Devils 2-0 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League final.

OFFICIAL: Galliani Announces Leonardo As Next Milan Coach
After coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed he is leaving Milan, vice president Adriano Galliani revealed who will be his successor on the Rossoneri's bench...

Following the 2-0 victory against Fiorentina, which ensured Milan will gain direct access to the Champions League, coach Carlo Ancelotti officially revealed he is leaving the club after eight years, but did not confirm yet he is leaving for Chelsea.

Shortly thereafter, vice president Adriano Galliani also announced to Rai that the next coach will be Leonardo, until recently a manager at the club, and that he will be unveiled in a press conference tomorrow.

The former Rossoneri midfielder, who played 96 games for the Milan club, had been highly tipped to step in should Ancelotti leave. The rumours have now been confirmed.

“It's true, Leonardo will be the Milan coach next season. He will be presented to the press on Monday at midday,” Galliani said on Raidue Stadio Sprint before thanking the departing Ancelotti.

“It's not over with Ancelotti. There remains friendship, affection and eight marvellous years together.

“I am very good friends with Carlo and I must admit there were a few tears shed in the locker room this evening.”
