Parca s-a pornit tot normal . Mult jocul nu cere , la Enhanced setting FPS ~ 30 , dar "vehiculul" nu se pornea . Puteam sa-l misc in parti , dar in rest , ppc . De asta si am intrebat , doream s vad daka si la altii este aceasta eroare . Daca nu , il pun pe torrents :)

PS : Din cite am observat , pina la release mai este o luna . Cam multisor , can't wait , ideea pare interesanta , si in general toti au avut pareri pozitive despre joc !

Tiberium
Other names: Tiberium: Command & Conquer
Genre: Sci-Fi First-Person Shooter
Publisher: EA Games
Developer: EA LA
Platforms: PC Xbox 360 Playstation 3
Release Date: Q3 2008
Official Site: http://www.ea.com/tiberium
Universe:  Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars (PC) (X360) (MAC), Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 (PC), Command & Conquer: Generals (PC), Command & Conquer: Generals Zero Hour (PC) (MAC), Command & Conquer (PC) (PS) (MAC) (SAT) (N64), Command & Conquer Renegade (PC), Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun (PC), Command & Conquer Red Alert (PC) (PS), Command & Conquer Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge (PC), Command & Conquer: Sole Survivor (PC), Command & Conquer: Red Alert: Retaliation (PS), Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun: Firestorm (PC), Command & Conquer: The Covert Operations (PC), Command & Conquer: Red Alert: Counterstrike (PC), Command & Conquer Red Alert: The Aftermath (PC), Command & Conquer Red Alert: Arsenal (PC), Red Alert: A Path Beyond (PC), Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath (PC) (X360) and lots of compilations

Tiberium isn't the first first-person shooter EA has created out of its popular Command & Conquer real-time strategy franchise, but it is the first attempt in over half a decade. As such, Tiberium will bring all the latest technology to the fray, and developer EALA looks to craft a game that will blend the squad control of the RTS games with intense first-person shooter gameplay. Along the way, Tiberium will also fill in huge holes in the history of the Command & Conquer universe. We finally got our first look at Tiberium recently, and EA showed off some of its core gameplay and features.

The previous C&C shooter, Renegade, was an early attempt at a large-scale battlefield where you could jump into different vehicles or go on foot. It was basically an early attempt at Battlefield-style gameplay, before Battlefield even existed. Tiberium, on the other hand, will focus more on putting you in the boots of a battlefield commander on the ground. As executive producer Chris Plummer explained, the inspiration comes from the way Special Forces troops operate behind enemy lines. A single commando today is a potent warrior, capable of dispatching the enemy himself or calling in reinforcements or pinpoint air strikes. The game will try to build on that idea by giving you plenty of tools of destruction.

Tiberium will continue the storyline that ended in Command & Conquer 3, as the game is set in the years after the Third Tiberium War. The alien Scrin invaders that invaded Earth have been defeated, but one of their huge towers remains, seemingly abandoned. Keeping an eye on it is Ricardo Vega, your character. Vega is a member of the Global Defense Initiative (the good guys), as well as a Forward Battle Commander in charge of a Rapid Assault and Intercept Deployment, or RAID. Basically, whenever there's trouble deep in a Tiberium-infested area on Earth, the GDI dispatches a RAID, which is sort of like a Special Forces detachment. Your role as the FBC is to call in air, armor, and infantry units and lead them to victory, though you'll be armed with a powerful weapon yourself: a transforming, four-in-one gun called the GD-10.

As the Forward Battle Commander, your job will be to arrive on the scene first and secure the area. The GD-10 can transform into a magnetic rail gun (a futuristic assault rifle), a missile launcher, a grenade launcher, or an energy canon, which also doubles as a sniper weapon. Also, the FBC is clad in advanced body armor equipped with jump jets, which let you leap atop rooftops and other objects. The battle that was demonstrated had Vega battling Scrin units, from basic strike units (which are sort of like alien dogs) to more advanced archons. To bring in reinforcements, you have to seize Tiberium nodes on the battlefield. Each node lets you bring in a squad of your choice, including regular infantry, missile infantry, Titan mechs, Orca air units, and more. If some of those units seem familiar, they're taken from the RTS game (not surprisingly); but Plummer also promised new, never-before-seen units.

If a unit is destroyed, that's no problem, either. "Your squads are not your health bar; they're expendable," Plummer said. "If you lose a squad, it's not the end of a mission. You can just order reinforcements and bring in a different squad, or bring in the same squad and try a different tactic. This gives the player a lot of choices."

Squads will be tied to the directional pad on your controller. You can control a maximum of four squads (one for each cardinal direction on the D pad). Issuing orders is context sensitive, it appears. Judging from what we saw during the demonstration, if you want your tanks to attack something, simply aim at the target in question and then hit the corresponding direction on the D pad for your tanks. Or if you want your infantry to move to a certain spot, point to that spot and then hit the corresponding D pad button for that squad. There's also an interactive battlefield map that you can call up to issue orders to your squads, if you prefer that traditional view.

Plummer said that the team prototyped the gameplay mechanics more than two years ago, and they've been refining it ever since. It certainly provides a different way of tackling the first-person shooter genre, as most games simply rely on you blasting anything that moves. The challenge of squad control on a chaotic battlefield makes Tiberium seem like a sci-fi cousin to games such as Brothers in Arms, though the former will give you a much wider and more varied arsenal to play with.

Longtime C&C fans will also be interested to hear that Tiberium will also delve into the lore of the franchise like few games before it. For instance, the roots of the GDI and its rival, the evil Brotherhood of Nod, will apparently be explored for the first time. It is essentially a conflict, as Plummer explained, between science and faith. It all revolves around the arrival of Tiberium, an extraterrestrial element that has the ability to transform any matter that it comes into contact with into itself. When Tiberium becomes a powerful resource, it becomes the source of conflict. Not surprisingly, exploitation will be the theme of the game.

With regard to technology, the game is being built atop a highly modified version of the Unreal Engine. But though the game is still quite a ways from completion, there are still plenty of details to be learned about Tiberium, from the multiplayer component to more details about the gameplay. Still, there's plenty of time; right now, it sounds like Tiberium will ship for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 either late this year or early next. The exact date is still to be determined, and Plummer said that the game will ship "when it's done."

Just Cause 2
Genre: Modern Action Adventure
Publisher: Eidos Interactive
Developer: Avalanche Studios
Platforms: PC Xbox 360 Playstation 3
Release Date: TBA
Official Site: http://www.eidosinteractive.co.uk/gss/justcause/
Universe: Just Cause (PC) (X360) (XBOX) (PS2)

Remember Just Cause? We loved its focus on hi-octane, adrenaline-fuelled, over-the-top antics. In a sea of same-old shooters, Eidos's free-roaming stunt-'em-up was a breath of fresh air, five thousand feet up or speeding across the waters of tropical paradise San Esperito. In terms of structure though, its uninspired roster of repetitive side-missions and an all-too-brief story mode left a sour taste for those hankering for something more than an enormous boys-own playground.

Now though, CIA black ops agent Rico Rodriguez is back in Just Cause 2. Several years on from events in the first game, Rico is on hiatus, soaking up the sun and sea in South America. His vacation's cut short though when old partner Maria Kane calls for Rico's assistance in tracking down and killing his friend and mentor Tom Sheldon, gone rogue and in hiding on the island of Panau, located in the Malay Archipelago.

Just Cause 2 promises to offer more than a simple story update though, with developer Avalanche Studios intent on creating a sequel to please fans and detractors alike. The original game's healthy does of humour and daredevil escapades make a welcome return, but part two also seeks to address common complaints of Rico's first outing. Most notably, Avalanche is concentrating its efforts on improving combat and enemy AI, offering a much bigger dose of meaningful, rewarding content, plus integrating those all-important insane stunts more tightly with Rico's basic skill set.

Now, for instance, enemies are much more than simple cannon fodder. Avalanche has incorporated a sophisticated planning system, enabling intelligent responses from opponents to your own actions. Dynamically adapting, your pursuers can use their surroundings more tactically, taking cover, corner-flanking and commandeering vehicles. What's more, enemies can communicate with one another, gathering squads, organising guards for tactically significant installations or even calling for reinforcements, whether that be parachute units or helicopter attacks.

With more challenging opponents on hand, Avalanche is also overhauling Just Cause's combat engine, its Hybrid Locking System with independent aiming reticule enables the targeting of specific limbs on your foes. What's more, Rico has a whole new arsenal at his disposal this time around. Alongside laser-controlled rockets, Just Cause 2 features a one-handed grenade launcher, detachable mounted mini-gun and sticky remote-triggered C4 – the last of which can even be deployed while in the air, ideal for impromptu parachute-bound bomb runs. Even better, both weapons and vehicles are now full-upgradeable, with over 2,000 parts at your disposal.

Speaking of vehicles, Avalanche has revealed a handful of this sequel's more esoteric forms of transport, including jumbo jets and something suspiciously like a mobile home. Whatever your ride, Just Cause 2 sports a significantly upgraded driving system - differences between the handling of vehicles is now much more evident, plus ground materials now affect the performance of your car. With Panau home to a diverse number of climate zones – from snowy peaks to swampland and arid deserts to lush rainforests – this second addition is particularly important. You'll need to think carefully about your choice of transportation if you're to maximise its performance on a particular type of terrain.

Of course, it wouldn't be Just Cause without insane stunts and Avalanche has a whole new bag of tricks for wannabe Bonds. First up, Rico's grappling hook now operates as an always-accessible arm-mounted gadget. Most notably, it can attach to pretty much any object in the game word, meaning you can use it to quickly traverse terrain, reel in enemies or even latch onto ledges and scale buildings, Spider-Man style. It's even possible to attach your grabble to objects, hook them to your ride and drag them down behind you.

Used in tandem with Rico's completely overhauled parachute – now far more realistic in behaviour – it's possible to perform combination stunts, such as the Slingshot. By opening your chute while reeling yourself in, momentum causes you to fly high in the air – perfect for hopping over hordes of blood-thirsty assailants.

On top of that, Just Cause 2 also features an entirely new vehicle stunt system. This time around, rather than standing lifeless on top of a speeding car, Rico's able to clamber all over its exterior, dodging gunfire from enemies leaning out windows to shoot if you get too close. It's another neat, over-the-top touch and hanging off bumpers, popping up for pot-shots looks simply awesome.

All these additions would likely be meaningless for some without major work on the game's mission structure, however. To that end, Avalanche has reduced the amount of dead space on its new island and dropped the original's myriad uninspired side-missions, opting for a new 'Chaos'-based system. Creating chaos causes the island's many factions to grow in strength, meaning it's possible to storm government strongholds with help from powerful allied factions. With a stronghold secured, an area of influence grows around it, opening up new opportunities, information and prospective employees.

How you create chaos is entirely up to you and you can either work with factions or on your own. Just Cause 2 features over 1,000 different smaller activities to complement larger missions, all designed to create increased unrest. You might want to steal military transportation, assassinate military official or even destroy significant strategic installations – the choice is yours. It's even possible to undertake these smaller activities while you're working toward completely larger story goals.

Of course, until we go hands-on with the game, it's tough to come to much of a conclusion about Just Cause 2. That said, we're incredibly optimistic, particularly given Avalanche's dedication to addressing criticisms of the first instalment, promising a far more rounded package. It's all quite the looker too, thanks to improvements in Avalanche's graphics engine. No longer constrained by last-generation hardware, Just Cause 2 boasts more detailed character and vehicle models, higher resolution textures, real-time deformation, plus a brand new animation system among other things. Of course, that stunning dynamic weather system is set to make a return, with new environmental effects such as snow and sand storms in tow.

Oh, and the wah-wah porn music's back too. We can't wait…

Pot sa ghicesc numai din ce cauza screenurile sunt asa de mici pentru Wii, probabil la rezolutii mai mari arata rau de tot. :-|

After filing our initial impressions on the playable demo of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we went back into the ring (several times) and spent a fair chunk of time with Nintendo's anticipated fighter. While the version of the game only offered a tiny sample of the dense gameplay offerings to be found in the final game's many modes, it was well worth the time.

The demo let four players choose from a roster of Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Fox McCloud, Pikachu, Diddy Kong, Pit, Meta Knight, Ike (from the Fire Emblem series), Peach, Yoshi, Sonic, and Bowser. The battle option was a simple two-minute KO fest on one of the available stages which included the classic battlefield, along with stages inspired by classic games such as Super Mario Sunshine, Twilight Princess, the Kirby series, Yoshi's Island, Metroid, Star Fox, Pokemon, Kid Icarus, and Fire Emblem,

The game's fighting system is in line with the fast and furious system used in the GameCube's Super Smash Brothers Melee. You'll have the same assortment of attacks that break down to normal, strong, and smash. You'll be able to string together combos and bust heads pretty easily once you dive in. Better still, you'll be able to charge up some moves and dole out a painful kick into the background.

To supplement your physical attacks, you'll be able to collect all manner of items that can help you deliver a beat-down on your opponents. As before, the assists range from familiar Nintendo characters who come out and wreak havoc to weapons such as fans, bats, and firearms. The various items, which break down to normal, assist trophies, and the ever plentiful Pokeballs, are nearly always useful and showcase a goofy sense of humor. You'll see everything from pixelated Advance Wars characters to metroids, and Mr. Resetti of Animal Crossing fame pop up. In addition, a new item called the smash ball--awesome when you collect it but completely hateful when you can't--will appear on the field. The new item will enable the character who knocks it open with a series of blows and collects its power boost to unleash a unique, powerful special attack that's basically death on a large blunt stick for any foe it connects with. The interesting thing is it's possible to steal the special attack from an opponent if you knock them around enough just after they collect it.

Control in the game is, as we mentioned in our last piece, flexible, although the demo we played only offered two of the four control schemes. After spending more time with the classic and Wii remote control schemes we got used to them but they didn't quite hook us. The remote didn't feel quite right in the heat of battle, moves were a little tough to pull out consistently, while the classic controller was more promising and felt a bit better. However we have to admit we're creatures of habit and just don't feel right playing Smash Brothers without a GameCube controller. We reckon with the game's extensive control customizations, aspiring brawlers will be able to make anything work in the end.

The visuals in the game are clean, detailed and, most importantly, speedy. The Wii's added power has afforded a higher level of fine detail on the characters that can support it. So, for example, you'll notice detail on Mario's clothing, Samus' armor, and Pit's clothing and wings. Other characters such as Yoshi, Pikachu and Sonic aren't quite as showy but still look good. Animation is smooth and helps give the action its fast-paced feel. Right now the characters don't appear to be a quantum leap over the last game, but that's fine. The environments, on the other hand, are quite a bit livelier and feature various interactive elements that you'll come to both love and hate over the course of a fight, depending on how the tide of battle is going. You'll have to contend with elements such as flowing lava, breakable platforms, and all manner of environmental effects that you'll have to avoid or use to your advantage during battle. Some stages have more subtle effects like the Animal Crossing-inspired Smashville stage which changes depending on the time and date of the Wii clock. Finally, the various assists, pitfalls and the new smash ball effects give the game some showy visuals as all manner of lunacy makes its way across the screen.

Audio in the demo is pretty standard. The brawlers all have a sampling of sound bites that range from the intelligible to the guttural. You'll also hear a broad range of dramatic effects for the bucketload of items, weapons, special attacks, and stage-specific ambient audio. The tunes in the game were in line with what the team has been sharing on the Smash Bros website and mixes some flair in with familiar themes. So far, the mix sounds about right and provides just the right accompaniment to the action.

Based on this tiny sample, Super Smash Bros. Brawl looks to be well on its way to having its bases covered in terms of what fans are hoping for. The playable demo showed off the makings of a solid foundation that the extra modes, characters, and stages should be able to build on. While we're not totally sold on the alternative control schemes, they won't matter thanks to the many control options the game will come packing--most notably GameCube controller support. The hectic fighting system feels familiar and the tweaks we've picked up on so far feel comfortable. We're anxious to try the other modes and see how the madness handles over WiFi. While we're obviously bummed we're going to have to wait until February to get our mitts on the final game, if the end product is polished up to a sheen, we'll deal. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is slated to ship this February for the Wii. Look for more on the game in the months to come.
