After Daft Punk wrapped up their Alive tour many moons ago, there has been a giant gap left in all our robot-loving hearts since the Parisian pair has maintained its steady reluctance to embark on a proper road show. It was only a matter of time then until someone came along to fill that gap, and now a Stateside duo calling themselves One More Time has done just that, fashioning themselves as a Daft Punk tribute band on a mission to bring the robots’ live experience to those who have dearly missed it.

They’ve got the helmets, they’ve got the lights—hell, they’ve even got the pyramid. One More Time is a tribute band that takes its craft seriously, delivering what their Facebook bio describes as a “a high-octane hour-and-fifteen-minute set combining Daft Punk anthems, club bangers, and their own remixes.” From the looks of the group’s photos and the handful of videos scattered around YouTube, One More Time appears to take many of its cues from Daft Punk’s Alive stage set-up (circa 2007), with the two members controlling the party atop a pyramid of lights, revisiting and manipulating Daft Punk’s catalog of noteworthy tracks while donning the appropriate head gear. Sure, it’s not quite the real thing, but with the attention to detail and unquestionable love of the music One More Time presents, it’s hard to argue with the results.
