He just needs to play. He’s been training with a personalized program like last season. In  his first year, he played from January to June and he scored 15 goals so the problem started last season. His case is not that strange, sometimes the inexplicable happens. I think he’s doing well and it’ll be a different comeback than the last one. There’s no fear as you can’t make progress like that. It’ll be a tough game tomorrow for both teams. The seven points don’t reflect what the team has done on the pitch and that means we have to do something extra to get the points. Lazio understand the importance of the game it’s an important part of the campaign and they’re showing their potential. I’m not thinking about Malaga, just about tomorrow. They’re a very technical team and if they take the lead, it’s hard for them to concede. We have four points on the table in Europe and we’re continuing where we left off last year. The double match up against Malaga will be crucial to get to the next round”.

Boateng has been conditioned by the injury to his hand but in terms of intensity, he never lets up even a little bit. He has to get better from different perspectives. Nocerino played well against Parma and as a winger last season, he scored a lot. He’s not lost as a player, he’s very important for us and I know how much he can give. Montolivo has been growing since Udine. He played a great game in the derby, he knows how to play the game and he can cover all responsibilities in the middle of the field. The league is long. It’s between Juventus and Napoli at the moment, but I think Inter have all the right ingredients to get back into it. Ibrahimovic is not just another player but nevertheless Boateng has had chances to score in the last few games so it’s not that Ibra’s absence is completely to blame. Players can go from phenomenon to also-rans in the space of a year. I’m happy with what all my players are doing but we’re an new team and we couldn’t hope to have 20 points in as many days. We didn’0t think we’d have seven either but we deserve to have more than we do. I left Niang and Zapata at home because they’re just back from their international commitments. If Niang did something wrong in France, it’ll be up to the French FA to do something about it”.

I’ve never beaten Lazio with this team. I hope to remedy that. They’re very different from last year. They’re very compact and they concede little space with just one player up front.
