MILAN - The Milan have had a difficult start to the season is no mystery but it isn&#039;t all doom and gloom. There are some positive statistics which coach Allergi and the players should take heart from.

To start with , Milan are leaders in Serie A of territorial supremacy with a total of 13 minutes and 21 seconds, better even than league leaders Juventus who lead the table of statistics in most other categories.

According to statistics of Panini Digital on the legaseriea website, the rossoneri are second only to the Turin giants in possession (28 minutes and 29 seconds compared to Juve&#039;s 29,27), in passes made (608.7 compared to Juve&#039;s 663.4) and also in percentage of completed passes (70.6% compared to leaders Juve&#039;s 73.5%).

What is obvious from these statistics is that Milan are not making the most of some quality play at the moment. The problem seems to be converting the excellent build up play into concrete chances. The rossoneri are only 7th in the table of most dangerous teams and are third in terms of shots on goal (6.3) and shots off target (16.6).

The return of Robinho (who is now fully fit) and Pato (who scored two with the Primavera this weekend) is also a huge boot for the team as they are two players that will certainly provide more firepower in the final third of the field

TRAINING DAY
The team trained yesterday afternoon on the raised pitch. 17 players were at work with. Muntari did some work with the group and Pato continues his return.

MILAN – After a two day rest for the team, the players got back to work yesterday at the Milanello sports centre. 17 players took part in training with 9 internationals on duty with their respective nations.

Training took place on the raised pitch and started with a 20 minute warm up which included 80 metre print repetitions and running through obstacles. The players then spent 20 minutes on aerobics and calisthenics. Training ended with practice match.

Here’s the situation regarding individual players. Antonini, Flamini and Ambrosini all trained with the main group. Bonera and Traore trained apart, Muntari worked out with his team mates but took no part in the practice match. Pato did the whole session with the rest of the team.
Double training for the team today with the first session at 10.30 and the second at 15.00. A 40 minute practice match is scheduled for the afternoon.

p.s. eu azi abia am aflat ca ibra nu vroia sa plece de la milan, el isi cuparase casa in milano, si inca si copii ii inscrise la scoala..

BOJAN: "WE'LL RISE AGAIN"

With confidence in his team’s abilities, Bojan Krkic spoke to the fans yesterday evening at the Milan Megastore in the city: “The league table doesn’t reflect the team and what we’re doing. We’re Milan and we’ll rise again”.

MILAN – Bojan Krkic was on hand yesterday along with team captain Massimo Ambrosini at the Milan Megastore in the Galleria San Carlo in the city. Here’s some of what he had to say:

"We know the situation is not a good one but we didn’t deserve to lose the derby. In other games as well, we did well without getting the points. We need to be more attentive during the important moments of the games and we have to stay on the road that we’re on. I don’t think the league table shows the work that we’re doing. Milan is a top three team and we are Milan. When I arrived at the club I had some physical problems but I’m better now and I thank the coach for the faith he showed in me for the three games that I’ve started. I’ve no problem playing a striker as that’s the role I played when I was growing up and also for Barcelona. I’m happy with Pato’s return, he’s one of the best forwards I’ve ever played with although it’s up to the coach if we play together or not”.

On Massimiliano Allegri:

“For me, he’s a great coach. He’s not the problem and of course it’s not for me to say if he should stay or go. Guardiola? I won’t talk about other coaches out of respect for Allegri”
