The successful coach's Italian mentor has fueled speculation that Pep is on his way to Serie A by saying that his former pupil will end up in Italy's fashion capital.

"Next year Pep could work in Milan. For Inter or Milan? That I don't know," Mazzone told Il Subsidiario. "Pep called me on the phone and told me he was coming to see me soon. I asked him if his visit would be as a tourist or as a coach of an Italian team and he told me both."

Report: Niang or Bojan to start against Parma

GIAMPAOLO PAZZINI will be rested for the Zenit game and leaves a space for one of the youngsters.

Milan have Parma on Saturday evening (kick off at 18:00 CET) but they are also thinking about the clash with FC Zenit St. Petersburg on Wednesday evening in Russia and coach Allegri is ready to rest players.

The Rossoneri started the season poorly and only Giampaolo Pazzini and Stephan El Shaarawy scored goals for Allegri’s side (three goals for each). Max is now reportedly willing to give other men a go in attack.

According to Saturday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport , Pazzini is tired (he didn’t have a pre-season) so Allegri will keep him on the bench today as he wants him in a better form after a few disappointing performances. The Milano-based newspaper believes one of Bojan Krkic and M’Baye Niang will be used.

Gazzetta gives Niang 60% to start and Bojan 40% because Niang is much more of a center forward than Bojan who likes to play a bit wider. Niang and Bojan will be joined in attack by Stephan El Shaarawy, who has been excellent in recent games with three goals in two matches, and Kevin-Prince Boateng who will return from suspension to the role of the right winger in a 4-3-3. In this case, Urby will be on the bench.

Yanga-Mbiwa, 23, was reported to be close to joining Serie A giants AC Milan over the summer, but the San Siro outfit were said to be unwilling to meet the French champions’ valuation of the defender.

Recently capped for France, the Central African Republic-born defender is out-of-contract with La Palliade next summer, but Nicollin believes the two parties could come to an agreement to stave-off the approaches of doting admirers.

“Is there any possibility that Yanga-Mbiwa will leave in January? Absolutely not,” Nicollin told Calcio Mercato. ”We’re working on extending Yanga-Mbiwa’s contract. In any case, the only thing that’s certain at the moment is that Yanga-Mbiwa won’t leave in January.
