MONTOLIVO WORKING TOWARDS UDINE

Early training session at Milanello with Montolivo taking part in the entire session along woth the players who didn't play last night against Anderlecht.

MILANELLO - Training started at 12 this afternoon after the official photo of the season was taken at Milanello.
Riccardo Montolivo joined the rest of the squad on the raised pitch and conducted the entire session as normal. The training session included all the players that didn't play last night against Anderlecht including Yepes, constant and El Shaarawy.
The training session started with the usual warm up, some quick passing exercises and was followed by some possession football on a reduced pitch. Then Massimiliano Allegri and his coaching staff held a tactical workout on half a pitch with teams divided into six.
The following exercise concentrated on some one-against-one and two-against-two. The session came to an end with a match on the reduced pitch but with the goalkeepers.
The only players that worked apart were Robinho, who ran up and downhill, over obstacles and on the sand pit. Pato worked on athletic training on the lowered pitch, concentrating on changes of direction and rhythm. Muntari stayed in the gym.
Trainin tomorrow takes place at 3.30pm.

Владелец “Милана” Сильвио Берлускони остался крайне недовольным результатом первого матча группового этапа Лиги чемпионов с “Андерлехтом” (0:0).
Бывший премьер-министр Италии подчеркнул, что он бы продал клуб, если бы нашел желающего его купить.
“Это просто позор”, - приводит La Stampa слова Берлускони. - “Если бы кто-то изъявил желание купить “Милан”, я бы продал клуб незамедлительно”.

20/09/2012 DE SCIGLIO MAKES HIS MARK

Mattia De Sciglio made his breakthrough last season and the young full-back has continued his progress in the first team at the start of this season.

MILAN - 2012 has been a year to remember so far for Mattia De Sciglio. The young Milan full-back made his debut in the Champions League then started his first game in Serie A and played in the city derby. His rise to prominence continued in the summer when he was called up to the Italy squad for the friendly against England in August.

De Sciglio is following in a rich tradition of Milan unearthing top-class full-backs and like the legendary Paolo Maldini he has gone straight through the ranks and into the first team.

Born on October 20, 1992, the 19-year-old joined the Milan youth academy in 2002 from local club Cimiano and his rise to prominence continued through the ranks to the youth team that won the 2009-2010 Youth Cup against Palermo.

There was promotion to the first team in the 2011-2012 season and a debut soon followed on September the 28th, 2011 at the San Siro in the most prestigious European club competition, the Champions League. He replaced Ignazio Abate with three minutes remaining of the match against Viktoria Plzen.

He also played in the return match against Viktoria Plzen on December the 6th, 2011 when he started the match and he went on to play the full ninety minutes. His Serie A debut had to wait until April the 10th, 2012 and that came against Chievo where he produced a very assured performance.

May 7, 2012 was a special occasion for De Sciglio as he was handed his debut in the Milanese derby against Inter where he acquitted himself with a maturity beyond his tender years.

De Sciglio is now on the cusp of making the big time in Massimiliano Allegri’s side and under the guidance of another great Milan full-back Mauro Tassotti he is learning quickly as he demonstrated in the opening Champions League group game against Anderlecht in midweek.

De Sciglio has shown complete professionalism in training and he has already earned the total respect of the Milan dressing room.

His inclusion this season has helped bring the average age of the side down to 26.31 years and he represents not just the present but also the future of the club.

“Riccardo Montolivo returns and will be a wing-back, then Massimo Ambrosini or Nigel De Jong in front of the defence with Antonio Nocerino. Zapata and Mexes will play while Yepes has become a dad so he will stay at home. Bonera and Acerbi will be on the bench and either De Sciglio or Mesbah will fill the left-back position. Bojan is doing fine while Stephan Al Shaarawy did well in the Champions League and was dangerous, but we have got so many alternatives in attack and could only change our system of play.

#44499 TudorM91, ii va fi mai greu... centreaza foarte bine si periculos cu dreapta sa... mai bine am incerca cu Abate pe stinga ca oricum nu poate centra si macar cu viteza sa fenomenala va compensa ! ar fi ceva interesant, decit sa-i anulezi cea mai buna calitate lui De Sciglio...
