Giuseppe Rossi wants to stay at Manchester United and is eyeing talks with Sir Alex Ferguson about his future.

The Italy Under-21 international spent last season away from Old Trafford, firstly at Newcastle United and then at Parma, where he impressed in helping the club stay in Serie A.

Parma are hoping to bring Rossi back next term, while Juventus and Sunderland are also rumoured to be interested in the youngster.

Rossi is keen to prove himself at United and displayed his striking skills in Italy's 3-1 win over Czech Republic on Sunday in the European Under-21 Championship.

He hopes Ferguson saw his clinical finish and expects to hold talks with the United manager when he links up with the squad for training.

"Let's hope he was," Rossi told Sky Sports News when asked if Ferguson would have been watching.

"I'll just be going back this summer, then I will have a talk to see what to do.

"I want to stay and play for Manchester United, let's hope so. There is a good chance."

Am uploadat un film documentar despre violenta in football si despre English hooliganism in particular.

Episodul doi e dedicat Manchester United hooligans -The Red Army si rivalilor sai din Liverpool si Man City.

Newcastle have won the race to sign Manchester United outcast Alan Smith in a deal worth around £3.5million. Toon boss Sam Allardyce made his move for Smith after the England striker made public his dismay at not being offered a new deal by United. But Allardyce failed in his bid to make it a United trio at Newcastle after the Old Trafford hierarchy rebuffed his attempts to sign defensive duo Wes Brown and Mikael Silvestre. Smith revealed his desire to stay at Old Trafford only last week but admitted he had received no assurances about his future from Sir Alex Ferguson, a revelation which sparked a scramble for his signature. Despite his reluctance to leave United following a £7million move from Leeds in 2004, Smith has been assured of regular football at Newcastle under Allardyce, something Fergie could not give him at Old Trafford.

...acum ca Smithy va pleca trebuie numaidecit de cumparat un striker.Simt ca in urmatoarele saptamini vor mai aparea inca zeci de zvonuri in legatura cu aceasta tema !
