Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff appeared on The Bubba the Love Sponge Show last Friday for a combination work/shoot interview segment that included one new piece of news, which was Bischoff knocking Sting for missing the last set of television tapings.
Sting missed last month's Genesis pay-per-view and subsequent television tapings due to a family emergency, though it remains unclear what is was exactly. What is known is that nobody is questioning its legitimacy considering that he has been in the wrestling industry for years and has never had a reputation for coming up with excuses to miss dates.
Bischoff said that everyone in TNA has to be completely committed to the organization or things won't work out, with Hogan adding he doesn't see how they can use anyone missing shows. Internally, it was noted as a message being sent to Sting, though it's unlikely he'll get it considering that he pays no attention to the wrestling business except on days when he's working as he doesn't follow it online. Nonetheless, the belief was Sting had a very legitimate reason for missing the last set of shows.
Bischoff said, "Sting's a great talent. Love him to death. My problem is now that we're trying to do this big picture. I understand how big picture it is for the wrestling business. Sting had life-and-death personal issues, but from a business side, it totally screws us up. If at any time that happens, I got a personal issue, now we have to switch gears on who we use, you can't build the world around them. Everybody has got to make a commitment. It's easy to say we want TNA to be No. 1, but if you're not willing to put TNA as a priority above almost every situation, then it's probably not going to work out."

Through the years, one man has been very constant in TNA.  That name is Steve Borden, Sting.  He was also a constant in the days of WCW.  He was the standard bearer for what loyalty meant.

We do not know what personal matters have taken place, but Sting was forced to miss the Genesis PPV and the Impact tapings that followed.

Everyone in the locker room is simply concerned for him and his family as it is not known why he missed, but one thing is certain.  He is not one to make up excuses and miss shows without a valid reason.  His work ethic is undeniable.

Recently, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff went on Bubba the Love Sponge's Radio Show to air their disgust for what they called an intolerable act.  Of course, they were speaking of Sting missing the two events.

Bischoff noted that we are trying to make this company #1, but we cannot do it with someone who is not serious about the business.  Hogan spoke up and said he did not know how he could use somebody who was not there.

These are two guys who have no right to question anyone, especially Sting, when it comes to family issues and taking time off.  Sting has been nothing but loyal where he has been.  Hogan and Bischoff have never been about loyalty, choosing to be all about the money instead.  The man with the most green was their man.  That man now is a woman by the name of Dixie Carter.

Dixie, if I were you dear, I would get out while I still had some money left.  The only place you can go with these two clowns is not to the top of the mountain.  Instead, you can only go straight down the toilet.

I will close by saying if these two guys are really that cold blooded towards Sting over this issue, they will do anyone this way.  Dixie, if this is who you want running the show, you deserve to fail.  If you are happy with the current setup, then I personally want TNA to fail.

Hogan and Bischoff went on air this week as saying they did not know how they could use a guy who would not show.

Guys, if commitment and dedication for TNA is what you are looking for, you still have it with Sting and should apologize to him if in fact he had life-or-death issues to deal with and took the time off.

After apologizing to Sting, the first thing I would do is free up some much needed cash and dump Bobby Lashley from his TNA contract and never let him return.

Word going around now would suggest that he has already left TNA.  If that is not the case, cut your losses now.

If the UFC came calling today and offered him a shot, he would be out the door anyway.  So why would you allow him to walk back in the door any time he wanted?

If you want to make TNA #1, go with the guys who are there to help you do just that and quit trashing them in the media.  If you want TNA to be the Minor Leagues for eternity, run with guys like Lashley who will leave you high and dry when a better opportunity is presented to them.
