In Giant Killing a ragtag bunch from East Tokyo are struggling in Japan's top football league. The team is going through an abysmal spell right now where they are nearing the bottom of the table and have lost 5 matches in a row. The losses haven't done much to team morale, because it was already low. Fan support, on the other hand, is looking bleak. In the world of football, once the fans turn on a team the end is near. Teams don't recover. Coaches are fired, players are sold, and teams drop to smaller divisions where profits often prevent them from ever being successful against even mediocre top division programs. East Tokyo United (ETU) can only blame their coach right now. And Coach is ready to give up this next game to prove to his team and fans, that against the biggest club in the nation he can make this team win.

Sports anime, but not like the usual ones, it had not only bright moments after the arrival of the new "kantoku", but also a series of defeats, some matches were really great, waiting for the 2nd season, though I don't really know if we'll have another season, 'cuz in the end they explained the usage of "Giant Killing" in the anime and Takumi said that ETU has the chance to do great things in J-League...8.5/10

It is the year 1999. In Nagano Matsushiro stands the pyramid of Japan, the private Waldstein Academy.

This place is famous for the repeated occurrences of occult phenomenon within its premises. Hence, it is also called the Occult Academy. The dean is committed to studying the occult, while the students are zealous in their everyday schoolwork.

One day, the dean passes away and his occult-hating daughter, Kumashiro Maya, visits the academy. There, she meets a self-proclaimed spoon-bending "time agent" from the year 2012, Uchida Fumiaki. As the two encounters various bizarre phenomenon within the academy, the reason for Fumiaki's timeslip to 1999 becomes clear.

Interesting anime, though the alliens' theme was borrowed from "War of the Worlds" (even the allien technology)...Bunmei was not a superhero like in other anime shows of the kind, the black mage was in fact very sexy and Maya too. I wanted to mark it with 8.5/10, but the end disappointed me a bit, I mean it's good that it wasn't a typical ending, but...I wanted Maya to become his gf and not his mom or tutor, so it's 8/10...

Nice anime! I liked it a lot, it has a lot of funny moments (though it's all about sex and puns) so every episode filled me with good mood... It's 8/10
