Блин, судя по главному противнику Декстера в 3м сезоне, Cane закрыли с концами

настоятельно рекомендую любителям декстера прочесть/прослушать первые 2 книги трилогии ) сериал - просто детство рядом с оригиналом. правда, в 3й книге автора понесло в мифологию и происхождение dark passenger'a и этот слив читать е рекомендую.

Ultraviolent Joker Shows Villain's Terrifying Side

Joker, the upcoming graphic novel from DC Comics, paints Batman's nemesis as the most brutal and terrifying criminal in Gotham, according to its author.
"It's a brutal book," Brian Azzarello told Newsarama. "I have a reputation for writing all kinds of hard-core, violent things. This is the most violent thing I've ever written."

The story looks at Joker from the perspective of "a tough guy who joins his gang," the writer says. Batman foes including Killer Croc, Penguin, The Riddler and Harvey Dent all show up in the book, and their reactions to Joker vary.

"Different characters see him in different ways," Azzarello said. "Are they scared of him? They’re terrified of him! They’re scared of Batman -- they’re terrified of Joker."

The 128-page, hardcover Joker hits stores Oct. 22 and will retail for $20.
Current Joker buzz from Heath Ledger's amazingly insane performance in The Dark Knight should give the book a boost.

4. Некий Грег Берланти буквально на днях "питчил" Варнерам широкоэкранную версию Зелёного Фонарика. Как известно студио-экзеки славяться полной потерей воображения в следствии длительной работы с всякими безумцами типа Вачовских, поэтому чтоб подкрепить свои слова осязаемыми предметами Берланти заручился помощью другого непонятного персонажа Брайана Мюррэя. Вот чем ответил тот.

если все фишки лягут как надо Гор Вербински, Гилльермо Дель Торо и Зак Снайдер присоединяться к проекту Хэви Метала от Финчера. Кто не в курсе, ХМ это мини-коллекция "мультфильмов" (по типу Аниматрицы) снятых в далёком восемьдесят первом по мотивам комиксов ещё более древнего происхождения. В переводе это означает "Многа Денек Для Сони Пиктурес" хотя бы потому-что оригинал отличается высоким уровнем насилия, зла и меж-планетного секса. Кстати Финч говорят в боях с Парамаунтом (вроде) потому-что Бенджамин Баттон слишком длинный (не в том смысле).

Fight Club and Choke author Chuck Palahniuk tells MTV that DC Comics approached him about doing a comic book miniseries. Nothing has come of the talks, but Palahniuk says he would love to create a ghost/monster series like the Tales from the Crypt comics he read as a kid.

EXCLUSIVE: Michael Caine Says Johnny Depp Is The Riddler, Philip Seymour Hoffman Is The Penguin

It’s one of the biggest — and most hotly debated — questions in fandom…which actors (and characters) will director Christopher Nolan enlist as a villain for his third “Batman” film? Rumors have abounded since the release of “The Dark Knight,” and Nolan has remained fiercely tight-lipped. But now, has one of his main players let slip some of the biggest casting news of the decade?

In an interview with MTV News, Michael Caine seemed to confirm rumors that the next installment of the “Batman” film franchise will feature two very well-known names playing the roles of The Riddler and the Bumbershoot Bandit, The Penguin. “They’ve already got them in mind,” said Caine, when asked who he’d like to see take up arms against the Caped Crusader. “It’s Johnny Depp as The Riddler. And The Penguin is Philip Seymour Hoffman. I read it in the paper.”

So Caine is like the rest of us, reading gossip in the tabloids, right? Except for one thing…according to the actor, he confirmed the news through the studio itself.

“When Christopher [Nolan] said we were going to do ‘The Dark Knight’ next, I didn’t what that meant in Batman terms,” related Caine, who plays Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler, Alfred Pennyworth. “I said, ‘What’s the story?’ and he said The Joker. I said, ‘Oh, s–t! How are you going to top Jack [Nicholson]?’ He said, ‘Well, I’ve cast Heath Ledger. And I went ‘Ha! I couldn’t top Jack, but if anyone could, maybe Heath could.’ And he did.

“I was with [a Warner Bros.] executive and I said, ‘Are we going to make another one?’ They said yeah. I said, ‘How the hell are we going to top Heath? And he says ‘I’ll tell you how you top Heath — Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.’ I said, ‘S–t, they’ve done it again!’” [Laughs]

While rumors of Depp and Hoffman have been hot topics around the upcoming film for quite some time, this is the first instance of one of the film’s stars speaking about the news, as well as Caine citing an albeit unnamed WB executive.

Meanwhile, when asked if he’s spoken to Nolan about the news or the next installment’s script, Caine made mention of Nolan’s vacation, and hinted that, “No. He’s gone. He’ll come back with a script sometime.”

Sounds like this news could be legit, Bat-fans — Depp as The Riddler and Hoffman as The Penguin! Good choices? Think someone would be better suited to portray the villains? Let us know in the comments!

#322 Gambit512 - стопудова фестиваль, но и сам фильм говорят Нечто, отличается от предыдущих работ также как There Will Be Blood от Магнолии и Буги Найтс. Старый Рестлер разъезжающий по независимым представлениям, фанат просящий автограф говорит "Я помню твоё первое представление. Ты был крут" с акцентом на БЫЛ. В общем надо глянуть..

Судя по словам Кейна "shit, they've done it again.." он сам не знает кто будет играть в третьей а МТВ просто перепаковали его слова. А что касается Хофмана так лучше не надо, а то щас ещё и Шер будет Пусси-Вуман. Фрэнк Миллер кстати сказал что Сталлоне подошёл бы на роль стареющего Бэтмена ЕСЛИ БЫ встал вопрос экранизации "Dark Knight Returns".

The Russians aren't too excited with the US cartoon South Park airing in their country.

Prosecutors in Russia want the cartoon banned! They're even calling the series "extremist" and have already received various viewer complaints.

Now? All of a sudden???

South Park has been around forevs!!

Valentina Titova, a rep for the prosecutors, says they decided to file a motion after an episode aired on the Moscow television station 2×2 back in January. She claims the cartoon "bore signs of extremist activity."

Titova added, "In accordance with the conclusions made by experts from the court investigations committee, a claim has been filed against 2×2 for its broadcast of an episode of South Park."

Even the Russian Union of Christians of Evangelical Faith has asked that prosecutors ban the show. They claim that 20 experts studied the show for its effects on young viewers and decided it was not appropriate.

Konstantin Bendas, the group's leader, said, "South Park is just one of many cartoons that need to be banned from open broadcast…as it insults the feelings of religious believers and incites religious and national hatred."

Adding, "Our complaint is against a lot of cartoons, but this one was from 'South Park' season three, episode 15."

That episode, titled Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics, features the famous piece of poop singing.

Bendas added, "It's one thing if they are on cable TV and viewers pay money and make a conscious choice. But young children should not be able to turn on the TV after school and watch this. They need to be defended."
